Unitex is the industry leading medical textile rental service provider serving the Healthcare industry for 90 years. We currently operate nine processing facilities located in the Tri-State area. Since 1915, we have been a privately held, family run business.
Our customer base consists of more than 3,000 clients throughout the Northeast, including acute-care facilities, nursing homes, long-term and assisted living facilities, surgi-centers and diagnostic clinics, as well as professional, medical and dental offices. Job Details and Responsibilities:
* Manage key accounts
* Examine cost, inventory and product utilization data with customers
* Develop relationships with key decision makers within the healthcare community through participation in linen committee meetings and linen awareness programs
* Participate and set account installations and appropriate schedules with new account administration, departing vendors, and plant production staff to ensure a smooth transition
* Achieve profit and loss objectives; controls costs; uses financial analyses; operates within budget guidelines
* Review and interpret reports; probes, audits and examines new information; uses information to improve performance
* Create presentations and linen utilization reports
* Review service agreements and renews contracts
Qualifications:
* Solid history of experience in service/operations environment a plus (3 -5 years)
* Extremely motivated and enjoys the fast paced environment of traveling directly to customer sites on a daily basis
* Competent in writing business letters, price quotations and proposals Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has the solid ability to develop relationships with accounts and on site staff
* Is proactive with customer retention - shows passion, energy and commits
* Treats business as his/her own
